Gas stoves, or gas burners, are a great alternative to using solid fuels to create a lovely warm fire to snuggle up to while you sit in front of them, giving you all the best bits of having a fire without sooty mess.

Modern gas stoves are able to produce a flame very similar to that of a traditional wood burner or multi-fuel stove, unlike the old blue flame we used to associate with gas fires. You can choose natural mains gas or LPG fuelled burners, and without the messy soot or having to fetch wood or coal regularly, you can just switch it on and enjoy your flames.
